Background
After researching where to purchase boba teas in Estonia, I discovered that only two vendors have an online platforms — Bobatee and Hips.
Problem
The haircare market is saturated, making it hard for consumers to find the best products. Misleading ads, time-consuming research, and generic recommendations add to the confusion, while salon treatments vary and can be difficult to navigate.
Solution
Hair Haven simplifies haircare with personalized assessments, tailored product and treatment recommendations, ingredient transparency, and budget-friendly options. It also helps navigate salon visits with timing and treatment advice.
Research
In my exploration of custom haircare platforms, two notable competitors emerged.
The HairCare app, a direct rival, offers personalized product recommendations through a free test. However it provides a very limited product range. On the other hand, Function of Beauty, an indirect competitor, differentiates itself by crafting custom haircare exclusively with its own product line. It's worth noting that neither of these competitors precisely replicates the unique functionalities found in Hair Haven.
